Your privacy choices

Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, targeted advertising and visitor identification on this browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we already treat it as this opt-out.

Make a request about your data

To opt out everywhere, or to see, correct or delete what we hold, tell us who you are. We pass opt-out, deletion and suppression requests to our visitor identification provider when its data is involved.

What we collect

Information you give us

Your name, business name, email, phone number, ZIP code, trade and anything else you type into a form, email or tell us on a call.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, scripts on the site record your device and browser type, IP address and approximate location, the page that sent you, ad campaign tags such as UTM parameters and ad click IDs, the pages you view, how long you stay, and what you click and scroll.

Information from other companies

Our visitor identification provider may match a visit to information it holds about a person, such as name, email, phone number, postal address and property details from public and commercial sources.

Cookies, pixels and scripts

We use cookies, pixels and similar scripts on 7signals.io for:

  • Analytics, to count visits and record page views, clicks, scrolling and session replays so we can improve the site.
  • Visitor identification, to recognize returning visitors and, through a third-party provider, link a visit to a known person or household.
  • Advertising measurement, to tell ad platforms which ads led to a visit or enquiry, and to build audiences for ads.
  • Remembering your privacy choice on this browser.

Analytics, visitor identification and advertising scripts do not load once you opt out on this browser or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Visitor identification

If you visit without filling in a form, our provider may still identify you or your household and give us contact and property details. We use that to understand who is interested in our services and to follow up.

You can stop this. Opt out above, turn on Global Privacy Control, or send us a request. When a request involves PipelineOn data, we forward your opt-out, deletion or suppression request to PipelineOn so it stops matching and sharing your information with us.

How we use information

  • To answer your questions and set up calls you ask for.
  • To run and improve the website, and fix what breaks.
  • To measure which ads and pages bring visitors and enquiries.
  • To follow up by email, phone or mail about Seven Signals and our Watcher platforms.
  • To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.

Sharing, selling and targeted ads

We share information with service providers who host our site, run our analytics, manage our CRM and send our email, under contracts that limit their use of it.

Allowing advertising platforms and our visitor identification provider to collect information through our site may count as a sale or sharing of personal information, or targeted advertising, under California and other state laws. We do not sell information for money. You can opt out of all three in Your privacy choices.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising for that browser, and our analytics, visitor identification and advertising scripts do not load. If we can tie that browser to you, we apply the opt-out to your record too.

Your state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold and how we got it.
  • Get a copy of it.
  • Correct it or delete it.
  • Opt out of its sale, sharing and use for targeted advertising.
  • Appeal if we turn your request down.

Use the request form above or contact us. We will confirm your identity before acting, respond within the time your state’s law requires, and will not treat you differently for using these rights. An authorized agent can act for you with your written permission.

Follow-up marketing

We may email, call or mail people who visit or contact us. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. To stop calls or mail, choose Stop marketing to me in the request form or tell us on the call.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete it. We protect it with access controls and encryption in transit, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect, sell or share information about anyone under 16.

Changes

We will post any change here with a new effective date.
